Furniture 101 - Paint Your Own Piece

Join our guest instructor and Annie Sloan Stockist, Maureen Bane of Signature Finishes. You will receive painting and wax demos as well as receive an education on multiple paint finishes. Come to class with a small piece of furniture that you can comfortably carry! We will cover step by step the methods to transform your piece. You will learn the prep techniques, patch holes or rehab if necessary, apply the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® colors of your choice, distress and apply the furniture waxes or topcoats to finish your piece. Your piece goes from drab to fab in one day!
All tools and equipment are provided but paint and wax supplies are purchased separately. Advanced payment reserves your spot in class. All sales are final on workshops.

Chunky knit blankets are all the rage lately and you'll be surprised how easy they are to make! The hand knitting technique is a life long skill that is therapeutic, meditative and fun.
Absolutely no prior knitting experience required. Ticket price includes all materials to knit a standard throw sized blanket and the two hour hand knitting experience.
Bags will not be provided. If you don't wish carry your project, please bring a large tote to carry your blanket and any working yarn home in.

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!
